Every WA voter attests they are a U.S. citizen. The penalty for lying is ≤5 yrs in prison &/or a $10k fine. And somehow people think that immigrants who won’t even go to the grocery store, who are afraid take their kids to school, are signing up for a felony by voting illegally?

🚨 BREAKING: Monday, March 23, 2026, U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan DENIED this MAGA regimes motion to dismiss a lawsuit filed by 14 Democratic state attorneys general challenging @elonmusk role and DOGE's authority. According to reports: The ruling allows the plaintiffs to continue with their claims that Musk illegally wielded power under the Appointments Clause, and that DOGE terminated grants, fired federal employees, dismantled agencies, and undertook other official actions "despite lacking lawful authority" to do so. In her 30 page ruling, Judge Tanya Chutkan wrote: "The head of DOGE allegedly exercises almost ‘unchecked’ discretion and receives minimal supervision, ‘report[ing] only to the President of the United States’ who acts largely as a ‘rubber stamp.'" "Plaintiffs have, however, stated a claim under the Constitution’s Appointments Clause." "The Senate’s advice and consent power is a critical ‘structural safeguard of the constitutional scheme,’ which seeks to guard against ‘the appointment of unfit characters’ to high public office." one of the media's major failures is not questioning the president seriously. if/when he insults a reporter they sit quietly like frightened children hoping not to be scolded. if he replies to a question by deflecting it, ask the question again; ask follow-up questions. UK journalists are skilled at this. without a courageous press, any authoritarian will walk all over them & hold them in contempt.
journalism isn't supposed to be about being "liked"--rather, representing ordinary citizens who do not have access to persons of power.

People are going to hate me for saying this, and I don’t care, but a nurse does not even get the level of scientific education that a premed student does. They are great at their job, which is providing care and medications on schedule. The US has confused people about which is a caring profession and which is a scientific profession and this is very specifically a US issue.
