This morning, I had the honour of briefing the Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade on the ongoing negotiations, Russia’s relentless attacks against Ukrainian civilians, and why Russia’s war in Ukraine — and its possible outcomes — matter to Australia. I expressed my deep gratitude to Australia for its continued support and voiced hope for further military, humanitarian, energy, and economic assistance. Many thanks to the Chair of the Committee, Senator @SenRaffCiccone , and to Senators @SenSHenderson , @DrJessCollins , @elliewhiteaker and @almclachlan1 for attending the meeting.

Very interesting. Samoa has publicly attributed malicious cyber activity to a Chinese state-backed group of hackers, APT40. Several countries have done this before, but I *think* this is the first time a Pacific nation has publicly attributed cyber attacks to a PRC backed entity
