@astropol0 Customers go elsewhere when things like this happen. I simply stopped using it. I guess I can’t run out of tokens if I don’t use it. 🙄

These weekly limits are actually painful paying $30 for SuperGrok and running out of usage in just two days feels so wrong. xAI is slowly stripping away what made Grok feel open and generous. It’s sad to watch it become just another limited and corporate AI... Grok is losing its soul

@thsottiaux Specific to the macOS app and perhaps the iPhone app, it would be nice to easily move project folders and have the related conversations automatically updated to match.

What is something that you feel is surprising that Codex still can't do well and we should have gotten right a while ago?

@mark_k ASIC design. I already have it in the loop with me. It will just keep getting better. Codex is orchestrating three separate chip synthesis jobs as I type this. We hear AI is optimizing its own code. It’s also optimizing its own hardware.

What is one thing AI will be capable of in the next 1-2 years that you know is coming, but most people still don't see? Not a vague prediction. Something specific you think is already visible from the inside, but not obvious to the public yet. What do you know about near-term AI progress that the rest of us are still missing? :)

@btibor91 A shame. Pulse is not only a news aggregator. It processes my recent conversations and is able to suggest research topics often with surprising background analysis already done.

OpenAI is apparently planning to say goodbye to Pulse (their feature that delivers personalized daily briefings based on your chats and connected apps) with a new Pulse deprecation banner “Pulse is going away today. To continue getting updates, try using Tasks.” Plus new mentions of a “Flight tracker” “Help me find flights within my budget for a specific time.” And a new Football section, the “ChatGPT World Cup Hub” Source: ChatGPT/1.2026.153 (Android)

@Jonatha51268156 @yacineMTB 5X is a bit light tbh. I’m not using it as much as I want due to other priorities. But Anthropic’s models are great for my work and I double/triple check everything. It will be a while before I trust only one model.

Apparently, if you're a straight white male, Anthropic throttles your Claude Code tokens for equity reasons.. they're running a prediction model on your computer to do that. that's too much. some people have been using slang from the hood to increase their token allowance

@sama Researcher request: being able to specify a previously discussed topic (e.g. "let's pick up on OR-merging in MAPS sensors.") and having the system bring our various discussions and promising concepts into context would help.

People outside of academia sometimes find the concept of a department chair confusing. They are not your boss, manager, or CEO. They are more like an elected representative who negotiates with terrorists on your behalf.

@gdb Right now: Building a reproducible, low-power spiking neural network pipeline for multi-label (overlapping) bird-song detection on public datasets, benchmarking ALIF vs LIF for accuracy vs sparsity trade-offs. For fun and because it’s possible.
