Dear Awaisu, Thank you for your feedback. Please don't make this a North versus South affair. I only corrected a false narrative that President Bola Tinubu is focusing on only Lagos State in terms of projects and appointments. As per your claims, please note that there was never a time when Groundnut money was taken from the North to develop the South. That is a false narrative that many people have used to justify some of the inequalities of Nigeria. Please find attached a record of Nigeria's total revenue in 1914. I have every year until 1960, in case you want that information, too. This is directly from the colonial office in London, now known as The Foreign and Commonwealth Office. I worked there briefly as a temp during my student days and still have access to their records. In 1914, the Southern Protectorate generated a total revenue of £2,668,197, while the Northern Protectorate contributed £794,310. In case you doubt me, please read the full report of Nigeria's revenue history for 1914 here libsysdigi.library.illinois.edu/ilharvest/afri… You will notice that Southern Nigeria's revenue was three times that of Northern Nigeria. More than 70% of that revenue was derived from the Colony of Lagos and the Western Region. The British amalgamated the Northern and Southern Protectorates because " the Northern Protectorate lacked adequate revenue for running its government." Please, Awaisu, this is not my opinion or thought. It is a direct historical quote, which you can read here api-ir.unilag.edu.ng/server/api/cor… Right from Nigeria's inception as a British Government protectorate, to the amalgamation, and Independence, there has NEVER been a time that Southern Nigeria financially depended on Northern Nigeria. Rather, it has ALWAYS been vice versa. That is a historical fallacy that you should personally research, and when you establish that I have told you the truth, then please stop circulating that lie as a good Muslim who is not a Munafiq. Thanks again, and may God bless you, Awaisu. Reno Omokri Gospeller. Deep Thinker. #TableShaker. Muslims must bury their dead before 4 pm, latest before noon the following day but e reach Dantata turn they kept him in the mortuary in Dubai and be negotiating Saudi approval to bury him in Madinah. And if the Saudi authorities reject the plea, he'll now be brought back to Nigeria and buried in Kano. When I tell you that religion rules is for the poor. I was in Calabar for the Carnival when my Father die, come as see how Alfa and the rest family was shouting they must bury him before 4 pm, that was how I miss the burial Sha. If I am Dangote or Otedola, they will wait for me. There are different rules to different categories of people in any religious faith. The stricter and dangerous rules are for the poor, while the rich is allowed to act on free mode. Abeg make I go hustle. Good Morning Brethren. Balogun Olamilekan

Polybadan students are kicking against the renaming of their school to Omololu Olunloyo Polytechnic. Same way UniAbuja students are dragging the government over the Yakubu Gowon University name change. University of Ife students also protested when the school was renamed Obafemi Awolowo University. Today, OAU is a badge of honour. One day, OOP go be badge of honour (holds laugh) Make Polybadan students calm down. This name don come to stay. Me sef, I went to OSU. My certificate says OOU, but till tomorrow, na OSU we dey rep.

@Imranmuhdz If they are pressured, they should simply merge to be able to compete . Am not aware there is any law giving Dangote monopoly. They too should build their own refinery and distribute their products. Make him wait till dey hoard or steal it's product abi

PETROAN Warns: Dangote's Distribution Strategy Could Harm the Industry “We Are Being Sidelined Already” - PETROAN As Dangote Refinery gets ready to expand its fuel distribution across the nation, the Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN) has added its voice to the increasing number of industry stakeholders cautioning about the risks associated with a market dominated by a single player. Speaking on behalf of independent station owners nationwide, PETROAN President Billy Gillis-Harry cautioned that numerous members are already experiencing pressure. He said, “We’re not against Dangote’s success. But no single company should control refining, supply, distribution, and retail all at once. “It’s a monopoly in the making, and it puts thousands of independent operators at risk.” PETROAN cautions that more than 10,000 authorized retail outlets rely on accessing fuel from the open market. This system risks falling apart if Dangote assumes complete control as the exclusive gatekeeper. PETROAN and other stakeholders are now calling for: - Open access to loading depots and marine terminals. - Enforcement of anti-monopoly laws under the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) - Fair pricing structures that allow independent marketers to compete - Support for third-party logistics, not just refinery-owned transport fleets. They claim that these measures will safeguard the diversity of Nigeria's fuel supply and prevent replacing a flawed subsidy system with a monopoly controlled by the private sector. “This isn’t about envy, It’s about making sure the downstream sector remains inclusive, competitive, and sustainable for everyone, not just the biggest,” Gillis-Harry added.
