@AllenAmornMD This doesn’t add anything to our knowledge. Most MCS are still inserted when patients are crashing and burning during the ablation procedure I.e sicker patients. Not surprisingly they die more especially when the support is not enough. But agree this area needs more work

Nice paper, very thought provoking. Combined with prior data perhaps time for a true RCT of MCS in VT ablation!

@True_EP Is there a way to bombard them with proton rich radiation in these models?

We did a very thorough evaluation using a phantom model with leadless pacemakers exposed to clinically relevant radiation doses. We tried our best, but we were unable to create any artifact or impact battery life.
