Temperature rise to 55 after single PFA application using Sphere catheter anterior to LSPV in a patient with Watchman. Is this is a true temperature measurement ? Anyone else has seen this? @True_EP

@myafib I’ve been able to get to 55C in an experimental setup with stacked PFA lesions, but never seen it clinically. Very interesting. I believe the temperature is real. Thank you for sharing.

This was especially apparent in patients with persistent atrial fibrillation. Almost every patient with peAF had some degree of sleep apnea in this cohort.
