@ItayeJr @JoelFickson for people who are comfortable in being a rich Malawian, they won't find any issues with the country. but if you want to be a rich African, at the moment you'll find that you can't easily export your goods due to diesel challenges, nor can you easily pay/receive across malawi

@ItayeJr @JoelFickson no economy thrives in isolation. if you are very rich in malawi, yes you can spend your money in malawi and live like a king. however at some point you will want to participate in global trade, getting an international service or make a payment abroad. you'll struggle

@MalcontentPizza @JoelFickson having a back account abroad is good. however the problem comes on how to fund such an account. you will be forced to use informal markets- paying double what you are supposed to, supporting illegal markets and the risk of loss as you physically have to travel to make deposits
