2 years later than originally planned (pandemic, life etc = deferrals) I have submitted my last piece of work to @LSEHealthPolicy. I don’t recommend finishing a masters & dissertation in the 1st year of a consultant post, but have gained so much from the course #HEPM #noregrets

The key points about vaping (E-cigarettes) can be easily summarised. If you smoke, vaping is much safer; if you don’t smoke, don’t vape; marketing vapes to children is utterly unacceptable. I expand on these points in the article below. gov.uk/government/new…

Anyone know of any examples of collaborative GP Registrar training i.e. groups of practices supporting groups of trainees rather than 1 trainer & 1 trainee? I’m thinking more than the VTS. Chance 2 rotate trainees 2 different sites - rural/urban, shared tutorials, diff views etc

Last day in my job... Cleared up everything in my inbox, emptied my desk (remember when printing was a thing?!), said goodbyes and in the pub by 5. Looking forward to 2 weeks off before pastures new!

Great progress has been made to reduce outdoor air pollution in England, but we can and should go further – it is technically possible. Tackling indoor air pollution should now also be a priority. Today I publish my annual report on air pollution. gov.uk/government/pub…
