@BGatesIsaPyscho Thats some deep feild telescope image overlayed with a martian surface photo, likely on some sky watching software vs a 1969 camera with limited exposure window and analogue efficiencies . You try taking a pixture of a starry night with your phone camera without long exposure

@lisabee165 @micsolana You might order a safe room, but the problem with sitting in an airtight heavy duty room whether its metal or brick is that your safe room just became an oven . Even a subterranean shelter needs an air supply and oxygen has this unfortunate habit of exploding when its near fire

@micsolana This is an honest question. Fires seem to be a common occurrence in CA & can start anywhere at any time. Why wouldn’t these multi million dollar homes have safe rooms? Couldn’t they create “storm shelters” like in OK?

@RRBilyk @blairewhite Its very expensive and dangerous to send people on space missions. The space race against soviets wasa big motivator for US govt to spend the cash. Its much safer and cheaper to send robots and other countries like china have done this

@blairewhite You notice we never went back to the Moon? Why is that? Did it lose its appeal?

I’m sorry but how the hell did we land on the moon and back in 1969 but can’t retrieve our astronauts from the Space Station in 2024?

@blairewhite Because you cant just pap a rocket on a launch pad and hit go. There are months of calculations, safety checks and launch window and crew selection to get through, all of which was done for moon landing missions and every other mission.
