Right now, children’s hospitals are facing some bleak choices. Which child gets their life-altering and essential surgery on time…and which child doesn’t? Make no mistake, this is a form of triage. Where is the Ontario government and what is their plan?

It's shocking that children's hospitals are so overwhelmed that they’re having to cancel surgeries. That pediatric surgeons are so worried that they’re saying some children "won't make it"…and still, the Ontario government won't even admit that we are in a healthcare crisis?

I still can’t believe they’ve got hospitals calling the Red Cross for help when Ontario under spent on healthcare by ~$900 million in the first half of this year. Ontarians deserve better. Ontarians deserve a healthcare system that doesn’t rely on the Red Cross to bail us out.
