Indian telecom Reliance is sabotaging access to Telegram for millions of users OUTSIDE India (including the UAE) via a rogue method called BGP hijacking. The sabotage seems intentional, as Reliance has ignored multiple reports. This may be part of a competitive war, as Reliance is partially owned by Meta — the company behind WhatsApp. Network operators are advised to reject unauthorized BGP announcements from Reliance (AS18101) to prevent route hijacks and ensure stable Internet access for their users. Such abuse of global Internet routing is alarming. I wouldn’t be surprised if Reliance/WhatsApp were also behind the recent lobbying effort to ban Telegram in India.

INDIAN LIVES MATTER.3 Indian ships have been attacked by the Americans and 3 innocent unarmed Indians murdered. Video clips show the ship was static. No transcripts of communications between ship and US Navy have been provided. 90% of Iran,s oil goes to China. Reportedly over 100 Chinese ships have Jumped this blockade. Not one Chinese or Russian ship has been struck. Just because India has gone out of its way to be friendly with US, it has responded by attacking our ships and murdering our sailors. Kissinger had rightly said- it is dangerous to be an enemy of US but it is FATAL to be a friend.There is a school of thought that IS LEAST CONCERNED WITH THE DEATH OF POOR INDIANS. Their deaths they feel should not poop the party in Europe G7.So the initial response was to shrug it off and make a pro-forma protest without Calling the press. It was only when there was outrage in the Indian public did we gather the courage to protest loud and clear. Pak had made it a habit to kill unarmed Indians till we pushed back. Now the Americans are ushering in a new era of colonialism and gun boat diplomacy. There are those in India who would like to compete with Mulla Munir in licking Trumps shoes. Deeply shocking to read this official US statement, which contains absolutely no expression of regret or condolence for the loss of innocent Indian lives. How can a “friend” and strategic partner be so deeply insensitive? Why couldn’t a non-compliant commercial vessel have been stopped using other, non-lethal means? Is it not possible to disable a ship's propulsion or steering without firing missiles targeted to kill civilian crew members? Practically every merchant ship navigating these crucial waters has Indian crew on board. Are they all considered fair game for US missiles now? This approach is unacceptable and I hope @DrSJaishankar had said so to @marcorubio.
