7/8 Possible options: ✅1⃣ Sponge integration into surveillance + centralisation of high risk cases- replaces 50% OGD with sponge 2⃣ Centralisation of surveillance altogether - unrealistic 3⃣ Avoid surveillance in low risk given low cancer risk- Radical but sensible (cut 50% OGD)

@WFostier MRCP serves no purpose other than being mandatory for IMT. It is a 'buzzword' exam ie cobblestone appearance of colon= Crohn's. USMLE test understanding of concepts. I learned a lot from USMLE but not from MRCP. Coming from someone who have sat P1/P2 CK/CS/P3 and MRCP 1/2/paces.

Recently sat (and passed) the Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians (MRCP) part one examination. I have taken a host of exams pre- and post- medical school, including US exams (SAT, USMLE Step 1/Step 2). MRCP P1 struck me as an anomaly in terms of timing and purpose.
