My mutuals, good morning.
We give thanks unto the Lord for the opportunity to see another day.
We're here today only by the kindness of his own heart not by virtue of our own righteousness.
As you go into today, be kind to people.
As much as possible, give peace and not heartache.
Make people feel better than they're before meeting you.
Love, for you are cherishingly loved by Jehovah.
Love yourself too as you can't give what you don't have.
Have a really productive day.

@itohan_olat This is exactly the problem, while how they dress is their issue, frankly, people around them will feel uncomfortable. Kids too are watching.
English

This is so wrong. Do not make people around you feel uncomfortable just because you want to be comfortable in your skin.
That is plain selfish behavior 🤧

Ladies of nowadays, what’s this?

Administer Epinephrine: 0.3–0.5 mg of 1:1000 epinephrine via intramuscular injection, typically into the anterolateral thigh.
2. Secure the Airway: If the patient is struggling to breathe, they should be allowed to sit up; otherwise, they should lie flat with legs elevated to improve blood flow to the heart.
3. Remove Stingers: The stinger should be removed by scraping it off, as residual stingers can continue to release venom.
4. Oxygen and Fluids: Provide high-flow oxygen and initiate IV fluid resuscitation.

Last night while on ER duty, a man presented with multiple BEE stings. He was tachycardic and complaining of a tightness in his throat. What is the first priority in his management?

@ThatCruiseMedic I think it was fixed before the deposits formed and hardened.
It often happens because many of them don't find it easy maintaining a good oral hygiene with the appliance in their mouths.

Who fixed those braces for him on top these many plaques?

This is a lot of plaque.

A 50-year-old man whose lymphatic fluid was leaking into his airway coughed this thing out.
What is this? 🤔 #MedX

MBBS is definitely not the same in every school, let’s stop pretending.
Same degree title, yes but not the same exposure, not the same teaching quality, not the same hospital postings, not the same clinical experience, not the same mentorship, and definitely not the same opportunities after graduation.
Some schools produce doctors with stronger hands-on clinical confidence because of patient volume and teaching structure. Some have better teaching hospitals, better consultants, stronger alumni networks, and better international recognition.

You’ve tried OAU Medicine thrice without getting pricked and this year, you finally changed from OAU but it’s to UI Medicine. A lot of people really need a guardian before obtaining a JAMB form. MB;BS is the same in every school. Stop wasting time on highlyyy competitive schools.
