They've been saying the Ice is gonna melt in the next 10 years, for the past 5 decades, every single decade. It hasn't happened. Thus this entire thing is false, the fear tactics are just that fear tactics, they desire to try and make you do stuff that will actually cause more harm to the environment, then it will help it. If we get rid of CO2 we get rid of plants, if we get rid of plants, we get rid of ourselves and all other creatures on land, and in the sea because many sea creatures also breath O2. Plants are able to deal with the carbon we put into the air, some even more than others. Desire to do something better, tear down the massive cities and spread out like things use to be.

@DracaBro @creepydotorg That would be a great point if there wasn't so much ice above sea level. Far greater than what the difference in density would be. NASA says if all ice on earth melted then sea levels would be 60meters higher. Ice that is above sea level is also the first ice to melt.

@DracaBro @Vandeervecken @darwintojesus thank you for admitting that christians were on BOTH sides of the "debate" there for where a single christian stands is irrelevant. what is relevant is what the bible says. the bible does NOT condemn slavery. it regulates it. that means it permits it.

Just so everyone is clear, when atheists say this they really mean, “I can just pretend whatever I do is moral and call it morality.”

You know something, lets just get right down to it. You won't ever understand the Bible, nor God's goal when it came to trying to get his children to turn away from something that was apart of their daily live. Slavery was part of society of that time and what God was pushing towards was removing it entirely from society, even when having Paul and the other Apostles speak against it in Roman territories. It's alright that you don't care to understand the Bible and the fight against slavery that was within it, you just desire to keep fighting against the only people who ever fought against Slavery, and told off every single people who tried to use the Bible as a way to allow it. As you're doing right now. My foundation of this argument is upon a rock, you're is upon sand, you ignore the facts that God was against slavery, that he sentenced people to death who tried to enslave anyone else who was amongst the Israelites, to the point the cities he was sending them to face off against were being wiped out for doing many things against his will, slavery being one of just many such things, and the slaves of these other cities were not treated with the respect God ordered the Israelites to have towards theirs. The Bible was against Slavery end of story and the greatest of the chain breakers was Christ himself, removing our slavery to Sin.

Also it was Christians of the North who fought against the false Christians of the south, who twisted the Bible to work in their favor, just as you do, to try and twist it to say it supports slavery, when in clearly did not. God is against slavery entirely, he is against the actions of those who were terrible towards the Israelites in Egypt, he was not happy with the Israelites who had slaves of their own, but he wasn't going to punish them unless they treated their slaves terribly. If a tooth was broken, that slaves was to be set free, if they caused great harm that slave was to be set free.

You clearly haven't read it then, it regulates it. Even said death to those who kidnaps and enslaves people. I've read through Leviticus quite recently even, says that those who run away you are not to re-enslave, those who do face death. So you clearly very much so, have not read the Bible.

@Vandeervecken @darwintojesus How about you go end slavery in Haiti, Africa, North Korea, and all other countries before you come spouting about morals. Atheism and Islam is what has slavery still happening today.

@TonyLaneNV Funny enough, carry out gets a lower tip, because they only need to deal with my order, not me messing up their table. Found a place though, that doesn't have tips on their receipts, meaning they're paying their staff properly.
