@3SkullJoe Except the political right has far more diversity of thought than the political left. Left to far left basically share the same views, while right to far right very much more and extend even into the left much more the the left frame of thought extends to the right

I hate how modern political discussion has been reduced to buzzwords and slogans, "left vs right," and "us vs them." In the real world, political discussion is much more nuanced, and there is a huge spectrum between far left and far right. Most grown people will have a mix of some left and some right wing views and values. Oda is a great example of this. On one hand, his story promotes civil liberty, freedom of information, anti authoritarianism, racial equality, LGBT rights, and pro education. All typically left wing liberal values. On the other hand, Oda also noticeably defends the concepts of monarchy, social hierarchy, private ownership, gender roles, and traditionalism. All typically right wing conservative values. The discussion is not so simple as "left or right" and "us vs them." Real people have nuanced politics.
