@xMakkusu @khasnaxy Ok, so name useful 4-stars in WuWa outside of the obvious Sanhua and Mortefi then. 4-stars will always be useless unless fully maxed copy. That's not an inherent hoyo thing, it's a gacha thing. Lower rarities are sparingly strong because they don't earn as much money.

@irish_llama @ohlookitsrafa So you end up with 1 5-star every other patch if you start with 0 pulls. While in HSR, you're guaranteed to get at least 1 5-star EVERY PATCH with the amount of pulls.

@Draix10 @ohlookitsrafa As someone who usually horizontally invests and likes having more characters in my account, more pulls per character is always better for me. HSR is also worse overall when it comes to powercreep which is a separate issue.

@irish_llama @ohlookitsrafa That's the neat part, you don't get a 5-star every patch in Genshin because it seldom even reaches soft-pity number of pulls. So even if Genshin gets 1 character per patch, you don't even have enough pulls to get to a 50/50 in the first place.

The max pity is 180, so even if there's only 1 character in a patch in Genshin, you're still FIFTEEN pulls short of soft pity, while in HSR, you're just over 5 pulls past soft pity. Someone who's concerned over pull counts typically doesn't pull two.

@ohlookitsrafa I mean tbh it makes more sense than looking at raw pull metrics. It varies from person to person, but I’d personally take 60 pulls per patch with 1 character per patch than 80 pulls but 2 characters per patches Genshin has still been too low either way but this chart is fine.

HSR is spreading out their free 5-stars throughout their version cycles. We've received 2 completely new 5-stars last cycle for example, neither of which were anniv

@DarkLynx144 @skadi_hsr That's not a five star selector, they were simply added to the free 5 star char store, it ends up in the same effect but there is a distinction. What usually happens is that the give away a new free 5 star during the anniversary, they didn't this time.
