True despair is following drawing tutorials on Pinterest where they have you start off slow and steady from step 1-3, make you feel like you can actually do this, but then step 4-5 is suddenly a huge leap and now you're too invested to stop yet not able to draw the rest 🥲

I wonder if I should actually try a full piece with pencil first one day. It’d be such an interesting learning experience to spend way more time on a proper traditional major piece instead of these quick pen sketches...

AAAAA I was nervous to post this but here’s a quick ~10 minute hand sketch! I don’t do traditional as much as digital so this was super fun… all with only a crappy black pen hehe. No fixing mistakes. Not perfect but Nipahable enough…?
