@toys_retro I’m used to having hallucinations due to my medication and epilepsy, thus they don’t bother me as much as they used to.

Reading 10 books. Sounds impressive but when you’re jobless, unable to drive, limited in what you can do, etc. you need a hobby or else you’ll end up going bonkers.

So, in April I’m aiming to pass out 1,000 tracts. Please pray that my health will be up to it. I’m actually going to a “pride event” (proverbs 16:18) on the 18th to pass out tracts, please pray that I don’t get harmed. I will give updates.

@akafaceUS I do give ‘em credit, takes humility. Not alotta guys are willing to own up to their mistakes. Keep moving forward.

Gotta give respect to those that are trying to better themselves after letting themselves go.

This is the opposite attitude of Joseph Smith. He regularly mocked Christianity. This modern rebranding (nice Mormonism) is to make it more appealing/palatable to modern audiences.

@JasonDDonahoe @MattTestifies As far as 3 Nephi goes, this shows that JS had a heretical view of the Trinity & presented a doctrine called modalism. I’m not the first to note this, many others have pointed this out. What I’m suggesting is that his polytheism (& theology) evolved over time.

@DrawingThings90 @MattTestifies What makes you think that the Book of Mormon is monotheistic? Have you read 3rd Nephi chapter 11? The Father introduces his son Jesus Christ. God the Father and God the Son.

People act like the Book of Mormon is easy to dismiss. Then explain the witnesses. Explain the complexity. Explain the consistency. Explain the doctrine. Explain the prophetic power. Explain why millions have gone to God, tested it, and come away changed. Mockery is not an argument.

@JasonDDonahoe @MattTestifies 1 Nephi 5:9-10 speaks of “the God of Israel” its singular so it’s referring to one God. Also it has dependence on monotheistic books such as the Torah (Deut 4:34, 6:4) Jeremiah (Jet 10:10)

I’ve a great number of knives in my back, most of which belong to my fellow Christians. Expect wounds to come from friends, it makes the pain easier to bear & it makes forgiving them far easier.

@MattTestifies Matt I understand your argument, you seem to be unwilling to see that other religions can use your argument thus your argument is invalid. & how do you address the issue with inconsistency between the BOM & POGP regarding the former being monotheistic & the latter polytheistic?

@DrawingThings90 The argument is not every religion is true. The argument is that dismissing the Book of Mormon is not as easy as critics act like it is. That point still stands.

So, one of the disadvantages of having epilepsy is having to check in with your folks via text every 30min or 1h when you go out. I decided to make the best out of a crummy situation. I send them texts of random stuff. Here’s some examples:

Pray for me guys. I feel miserable (health wise) I’m highly fatigued, my colour is described as “flushed” and I feel somewhat weak. It’s hindering from church and passing out tracts. I need strength to endure this trial and I need to heal asap.

@oelma__ I just don’t wanna complain or be a bother to others. People are dealing with their own problems, they don’t need an earful of someone else’s problems.
