Prayer Request: Michael Angle just turned 5 years old on February 4, 2025. He began complaining to his mom of having headaches and migranes a few weeks ago. Doctors decided to do a CT scan and found a cancerous brain tumor called Medulloblastoma. He’s had surgery to remove the tumor and it was successful. He will still need chemo and radiation. The part of his brain that was affected has created some neurological issues with his motor skills and cognitive functioning. So we are praying for a full recovery and healing of that area of his brain and for the cancer to NEVER return! 🙏🏽

Yesterday I was at the library with my kids, and I sheepishly asked the librarian if they could order my Katie Luther biography to have available, Librarian: "we can order it in from another library so you can read it." Me: "I don't need to read it. It's just I'm one of your local authors, and it'd be cool to have my book available here. You guys ordered my last book without me asking, multiple copies even that are almost always checked out, and I just thought you'd like to know I wrote another book. This is a children's one." Librarian: "Do you know the name of the book you're requesting?" Me: "Well, yes, I wrote it. Hahahaha." Librarian: "And you don't want to check it out or anything you just...want it here." "That's correct. I know you put little stickers on the ones for Minnesota authors. Local author." I had to talk with 3 different librarians, explaining that I was the author and the response was along the lines of "sure you are..." or "and...?" Anyway. Glamorous author life over here. The current status is: they wrote it down and will think about it.

After yesterday’s health scare with my son, I wanted to share my CA-125 is down to 7. This is the test for cancer in your body with ovarian cancer. When I was diagnosed last April it was 980. Normal is below 36. #fuckcancer
