MAJOR ORDER: Operation Free Space proceeds on schedule. Its centerpiece is the creation of the Star of Peace, an augmentation to the Democracy Space Station. The primary weapon of the Star of Peace is a cutting-edge beam of ionized Dark Fluid. Synthesizing sufficient Dark Fluid to fire the Star of Peace even once will require vast amounts of E-711. The Helldivers are ordered to enable high-risk E-711 extraction on the mostly-untouched Hive World of Omicron.

In the spirit of Generosity, Gratitude, and Vengeance, High Command bequeaths to all Helldivers a seasonal cape to celebrate the end of this year’s Festival of Reckoning.

On this hallowed date, our forebears witnessed true glory, as the Democratic Council instituted the first and final draft of Managed Democracy, and in so doing, formally ratified humankind’s greatest gift to the galaxy: Freedom. Today’s celebrations are further enriched as we also honor the serving heroes of Super Earth, whose steadfast obedience has ensured that our way of life continues, even amidst our darkest trials to date. As children of all Class designations snatch presents from Liberty Pyres and eat Justice Corn at dissident executions, all serving Helldivers will celebrate in the traditional frontline manner. Exactly as our ancestors first bestowed the gift of Freedom to all, Helldivers shall join together today, and achieve the designated kill count using only the classic R-2124 Constitution rifle. Upon completion, all serving Helldivers shall receive this year’s Liberty Day cape. Freedoms greetings Helldivers, We want to share an update on our most recent patch. It was originally planned for Tuesday, but a last-minute certification issue caused a delay. The team is now targeting delivery by the end of this week, with staff ready to work over the weekend if needed. There’s still a small chance the issue won’t be fully resolved by Friday, which could push the patch to next week. We’re doing everything we can to deliver it this week and will provide an update on Friday either way. Thanks for your patience and understanding. As we previously shared, we have pushed back our content releases, including Warbonds, to focus on fixing performance, bugs, and balance. The upcoming patch includes many bug fixes, performance optimizations and a weapons/enemy balance pass – not included in the list below. We want to share a smaller list of optimizations with you ahead of time so that you can get a better idea of what’s coming, and then the full patch notes will go live with the patch as usual.
