Jennings drives clicks and ratings, which is why he’s there and guys like Paris Denard and Jeff Lord didn’t last as long- so I get it… But at some point either CNN or a panelist needs to admit this is all a work, rein in the BS, or Abby is gonna lose her credibility.
No doubt, @adammocklerr has a definite point of view, but Abby Phillip's "everybody calm down" moment fails to acknowledge that @ScottJenningsKY is the ONLY one who had the outburst, and I'd have kicked him off in the break for failing to debate, but rather debase himself.
Yep, I think the goals at this point are to clean up the defense, win series and/or tread water until guys like Lux, Clev, Pep, Eceta return & assume positive regression for a few others- then reevaluate around mid-late June, then see how things fit.
Overall a good series win for the Rays. The offense is not trending in the right direction though… Guys like Palacios/Fortes are starting to regress, and Mullins/Walls/Feduccia are liabilities at this point. Hopefully it improves during the upcoming homestand. I’d imagine Lux could be back soon if he strings together some consistent action in AAA. Cleavinger should be back this weekend too.
