Even after years of war, when we thought the Russians could not get any more cynical, we see something even worse.
Russia not only sends the North Korean troops to storm Ukrainian positions, but also tries to conceal losses of these people.
They tried to hide the presence of North Korean soldiers. It was prohibited to show their faces during training. The Russians attempted to erase any video evidence of their presence.
And now, after first combats with our warriors, Russians are trying… to literally burn the faces of North Korean soldiers killed in battle.
This is a demonstration of disrespect, which is currently prevalent in Russia, a disrespect to everything human.
There is not a single reason for North Koreans to fight and die for Putin. And even after they do, Russia has only humiliation for them.
This madness must be stopped—stoped by a reliable and durable peace, as well as Russia’s accountability for this cynical war.

Today, I held a Staff meeting where issues critical to Ukraine's strength were discussed.
First—the protection of our energy sector this winter. All key representatives of the industry were present. Received reports from Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and Minister of Energy German Galushchenko. We reviewed the state of technical protection of facilities, the schedule for the completion of fortifications, and the deployment of electronic warfare and air defense systems, including the Patriot systems we expect in the near future.
Second—our domestic production of missiles, drones, and electronic warfare equipment. Reports were given by Vice Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha. We discussed solutions to enable our industry to reach its full potential, including long-term state contracts and foreign investment.
And, of course, the situation on the frontline. A report was delivered by Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi on all main directions, followed by reports from intelligence representatives Kyrylo Budanov and Oleh Ivashchenko.
