I fully understand the ECHL players want better wages and working conditions and listen, I hope they get that, but at the same time it’s kind of like signing up for the marine corps and asking for better living conditions in Afghanistan. It is what it is fellas. You’re in the jungle of all jungles. Like the Bayou of professional hockey. You fully know what you’re signing up for. If you don’t like your work space or place of work, find a better spot to do so, play better to get out or change your occupation it’s pretty simple. -People’s

@Enchanteeouioui @J_Swish24 majority of ECHL teams break even or lose money. Extra couple thousand in salary a week + per diem increase could send most teams into the red support the players, but if this goes on longer than a week or so, teams are going to fold and then there are less jobs for these guys.

@c1_boomer @J_Swish24 If we are bringing commissioner salaries… let’s talk about the 475k the union director makes. Or the fact that over the last 10 years th leagues has operated at a -$60k. Number would have been a lot worse if not for expansion fees and covid year as less money going out

@J_Swish24 I don't think jordan understands people working in the ticket stands are making more than the players... the commissioner is making 400k a year. they have every right to speak up, and get paid better, anyone who says otherwise is just a talking head for the rich...
