BREAKING: Just five minutes before Trump's announcement to halt the attacks on Iran, massive trades reportedly hit the market. In one move, $1.5 billion in S&P 500 (ES) futures was bought while $192 million in oil (CL) futures was sold. These orders were 4–6x larger than anything else at the time. The trader seemingly made huge gains. Unusual.

Let me explain educate you all what just happened, 5 minutes before the President announced a halt to attacks on Iran… Someone placed a $1.5 BILLION bet on stocks going up and dumped $192 million in oil.5 minutes. These trades were 4 to 6 times larger than anything else in the market at that time. Whoever did this wasn’t guessing. You don’t risk $1.5 billion on a hunch. There was zero public indication this announcement was coming. No leaks. No press. Nothing. The only people who knew were in the room when the decision was made. Someone in that room picked up a phone. And within minutes, they made more money than most Americans will earn in a thousand lifetimes. In a single trade. On a war that cost you $4+ gas and $16 billion in tax dollars. American citizens funded this war. Politicians are positioned to profit from it. This is not the first time. Major announcements have repeatedly been preceded by suspicious market moves tariff reversals, policy shifts, war decisions. This may be one of the most blatant examples of potential insider advantage in modern American politics. You would go to prison for trading on a tip from your cousin. Yet billion-dollar trades happen minutes before decisions like this and no one asks questions.Nobody gets investigated. Nobody gets charged. By tomorrow, this will be buried under the next headline. Just like last time. And the time before that. The game is rigged. The insiders pull the strings and win over and over. And they’re not even trying to hide it anymore.

Is there a connection between the Russian-Ukrainian war and the current war in Iran, the two largest conflicts of the 21st century in Europe and the Middle East? Is there a common feature that has led to and will continue to lead to great victims and in other parts of the world? In my opinion, yes. The wars in Ukraine and Iran have in common that they became possible due to the lack of will, responsibility, and courage to make global decisions to prevent or stop them. Translation: The dumbest "diplomat" of all time. March 10: Witkoff: "Russia assures us that it will not supply Iran with targeting data. We can trust Putin's word." March 20: Russia: "If you stop supporting Ukraine, we'll stop supplying Iran with targeting data."

Der dümmste "Diplomat" aller Zeiten. 10.

KIU ✪ Russian Officers killed in Ukraine 🇨🇿🇺🇦
His communist past is clearly described, he openly confronted it, and his subsequent life speaks for itself. He has nothing to be ashamed of, unlike the traitors serving the Kremlin to date, i.e. you. You better shut up, you don’t understand. Our President only gives the final signature to the law; it was proposed and approved by Parliament. The normal part of Czech society (except for russian collaborators like you) supports this law, which bans the promotion of Nazism and Communism.

Peak EU absurdity. We are preparing to repair a pipeline Russia itself bombed - to restart the flow of Russian oil we claim to be phasing out - for Hungary, which is blocking €90bn for Ukraine that we’re funding - sans Hungary. If this is not paid from frozen Russian assets - which it should be, morally and legally -, this move is beyond delusional. We’re subsidising the aggressor instead of making them pay for their own destruction. That’s clinical-grade masochism - collaboration in our own economic suicide and Ukraine's strangulation.
Ursula von der Leyen@vonderleyen

Statement with @eucopresident on the Druzhba pipeline Following the renewed Russian strikes on January 27 on the Druzhba pipeline, leading to the interruption of crude oil supplies to Hungary and Slovakia, we have engaged in intense discussions with Member States and Ukraine at all levels to restore the flow of oil to Hungary and Slovakia. The EU has offered Ukraine technical support and funding. The Ukrainians have welcomed and accepted this offer. European experts are available immediately. Our priority is to ensure energy security for all European citizens. In this sense, we will continue to work with the concerned parties on alternative routes for the transit of non-Russian crude oil to the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

March 16 marks the anniversary of one of the deadliest terrorist attacks carried out by Russia in Ukraine. On this day, a Russian aircraft dropped two powerful bombs, likely 500-kg, on the Mariupol Drama Theatre, where hundreds of civilians had taken shelter. The attackers were not stopped by the massive “CHILDREN” sign written on the square in front of the building to show that civilians were inside. Hundreds of people were killed while seeking refuge there, believing the theatre would never become a target.

In peacetime, the state functions thanks to a large number of different factors: laws that regulate social relations, the political system, security structures, the economy, and international ties. But in times critical for the very existence of the state, when the familiar world is collapsing before our eyes, the state above all rests on the brave, the true, and the loyal — its finest citizens. There are people who, without orders or coercion, guided only by their internal moral compass, decide to take responsibility and be the first to step toward the threat. Why and how a person becomes a volunteer, where this fire within them comes from, a fire that leaves no room for doubt, is a question I have reflected on more than once while observing the combat path of my brothers-in-arms who volunteered. The answer lies beyond the rational. Cause-and-effect reasoning cannot fully explain why a sense of responsibility for one’s country arises in a person’s heart and leads them to act, regardless of danger, fear, and often the absence of prior military experience. Modern equipment can be developed and produced, military reforms can be carried out, personnel can be trained and provided with everything necessary. But it is impossible to create under laboratory conditions the inner impulse that distinguishes those who voluntarily stood up to defend the Motherland from all others, and without which everything else becomes both impossible and meaningless. It either exists or it does not. Ukraine has been fortunate with every person who did not run or wait, but voluntarily chose to stand shoulder to shoulder with the finest sons and daughters of the nation in the struggle for its existence. Happy Volunteer Day, brothers-in-arms!

A preliminary U.S. military investigation found that a U.S. Tomahawk missile mistakenly struck an Iranian elementary school on Feb. 28, killing at least 175 people, mostly children. The strike happened because outdated targeting data labeled the building as part of a nearby Iranian naval base. Officials say multiple agencies failed to verify the information. Source: NYT

🇦🇪 🇺🇦 And something else is happening, quietly, in the background. A UAE political analyst posted two flags side by side yesterday, the Emirati and the Ukrainian, with three words: “Thank you Ukraine.” Just gratitude, from a region where Russian propaganda has spent years poisoning the well against Kyiv, framing Ukraine as a Western puppet, a failing state, an unworthy cause. It turns out the most effective counter to that narrative was not a PR campaign. It was Ukrainian operators showing up to keep the skies clear. Hearts are turning in the Middle East because Ukraine did what serious countries do: it showed up when it was needed, for people who had been told it was their enemy. Trump might want to think about what that says. About them. And about him. Gandalv / @Microinteracti1
