Heartbroken, but incredibly proud. 21–5. 7–0 non-conference. 14–5 in what we believe is one of the top D3 conferences in the country, home of the #2 team in the nation (2 of our 5 losses coming to them). We didn’t take care of business in the semifinal. That part is on us. The Landmark getting one bid is tough to swallow. NPI is the metric which helps in so many ways and it is what it is. Our full conference win % and conference SOS ultimately didn’t stack up high enough. That’s the reality. Beating two NCAA tournament teams by 18 & 19 still wasn’t enough. Having things outside our control factor in stings. BUT… That does not take away from what this team accomplished. • Most wins & best win % since 1991–92 • Best conference finish in program history • First-ever home semifinal • Senior class: 63–39 Pink.
