Avs going Blackwood in net for Game 4 tonight. Wedgy’s been fine...not great, not terrible...but after 3 straight losses, this was the one obvious change they could make. I guess I’m a sucker… I’ll be watching every second with hope again… for now. You checked out on this series or still invested?

@NathanJ5072 That’s one take. Another is that the players on the ice didn’t get it done. Kinda what happened to Canada (MacKinnon, Makar, Toews, etc.) in the Olympics. They got outplayed by a team that wanted it more.

Fire him or part ways with him, idc. The fact of the matter is the Avs teams have had talent alone to win it all, but clearly the coaching is the problem. I don’t care who this offends lol we need to win and therefore he needs to be gone.

@MakarTruther98 @BiasHockeyBeta B.S. the team collapsing rests as much on the players as anyone. Every player on the ice has played uninspired hockey in this series. Goaltending has been sub-par. Firing Bednar changes nothing, & likely results in a gutting of the roster.

@MakarTruther98 It’s not Bednar!! The players on ice need to perform, and they have not performed well enough. Haven’t wanted it bad enough. Players like MacKinnon, Makar, etc have to put the team on their shoulders. Goaltending has to be much better.

I called for Bednar's head last Spring on main and Avs fans tore me apart. Anyone else got an elightening opinion?

@Tyler_Polumbus I get the common thinking of kicking Bednar to the curb, but at the end of the day (or game) it’s the players on the ice that need to get it done; period.

Bednar delivered the Cup, built the culture, and turned the Avs into yearly contenders. But series like this one cost jobs every year... You sticking with Bednar or time for a new voice?
