Thrilled to have received the 2021 Freedom of Movement fund for our work in high school runners! This project is a big part of my dissertation & incredibly important for determining safe running volumes for youth distance runners.

Normal asymmetry varies depending on what variable you are interested in but sex and running speed don’t tend to influence variability. Nice work @Drew_Lukes, @MikelJoachim , @Stephklie2, and Bryan Heiderscheit!

Great work @UWBadgerAP Team... my main takeaway... a 10% asymmetry cutoff should not be applied to all biomechanical variables for running. Cutoff need to be variable specific.
