My third highlighted game of @UANextBHoops National Semifinals brought another fun showdown between Pro One 16U and @NovaVillage1 16U, and it had plenty of momentum swings before Nova Village slammed the door shut. Pro One came out firing from deep, pushing the pace in transition, hitting open looks, and grabbing a 20-17 lead after one quarter. Nova Village answered with a completely different level of intensity in the second period, turning relentless defense into instant offense. The passing became sharp, the defense became suffocating, and the shots started falling from everywhere as Nova Village raced into halftime with a 40-34 lead. Pro One kept fighting and made a strong push throughout the third quarter, cutting thelead and making Nova earn every possession, but Nova Village stayed steady and took a 59-52 lead into the fourth. Once the final quarter began, Nova Village completely took over, locking in on both ends of the floor and pulling away for an impressive 81-64 victory.
#21 @BubbaDonald8 was the biggest offensive weapon on the floor, pouring in a game-high 24 points while raining in 4-5 from beyond the arc. Every time Pro One looked ready to make another run, Bubba delivered another timely basket, stretching the defense with his shooting and providing the spark that helped Nova Village create separation.
#0 @lucafilia0 controlled the game in every possible way despite scoring just 8 points. He finished with 9 assists, 6 steals, and 4 rebounds while constantly dictating the tempo. His court vision created easy scoring opportunities, his defensive instincts turned live-ball steals into fast-break points, and his all-around floor game was a huge reason Nova Village took control in the middle quarters.
#3 Cam Johnson brought physicality and balance to the attack with 15 points and 6 rebounds. He finished through contact, attacked the boards, and gave Nova Village another dependable scoring option whenever the offense needed a lift.
#24 @Drewskii_40 made his outside opportunities count, scoring 9 points while connecting on 3-5 from three-point range. His timely shooting kept the floor spread and punished Pro One whenever they helped too much on Nova Village's playmakers.
Pro One was led by #13 Hasberry, who refused to back down despite the loss. He finished with 21 points and caught fire from deep, raining in 7 triples to keep his team within striking distance for much of the game. His shooting gave Pro One life, but Nova Village's balanced attack, relentless defense, and unselfish ball movement proved to be the difference as they pulled away late.
