Drink In’s #ShotofKnowledge : Absinthe One of the world’s most notorious spirits, it has a cloudy reputation at best! Famed for its supposed hallucinatory effect & usually high alcohol content, Absinthe is an anise-flavoured spirit flavoured with a variety of herbs & spices!

What We’re Drinking this week: A new favourite in house, @BobbysGin Jenever has the strong juniper profile that makes this style so intriguing, along with rich malt flavour & a subtle hint of spices. We’ve been playing around with it as a replacement for Gin in the classics!

Drink In’s #ShotofKnowledge: The 21 Club The 21 club is an infamous speak-easy in NYC! To survive during prohibition, the owners installed a complex system to hide alcohol during police raids, such as revolving bars, tipping shelves leading to the sewers & a hidden wine cellar!

What We're Drinking this week: @abbeywestmalle Tripel! We love a good Trappist & this is one of the best! A classic golden pour with peppered spice & bright orange on the nose & taste, followed by a beautifully dry finish! Definitely a great introduction to Belgian beer!
