Tonight is the final vote on the Liberals' Bill C-9. Given the widespread concern amongst Canadians, I will once again vote no. I will not vote for legislation that eliminates the legal safeguards that protect our freedoms of speech and religion and helps to provide a legal foundation for our existing hate crime laws, as even the Supreme Court of Canada has recognized.
