@My_Makati @MakatiTraffic @MakatiTraffic1 @theGEF @DENROfficial @MissEarth @ClimatePH @denr12official PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ THIS POST. On Monday, March 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM Location: Brgy. Pio del Pilar Clean-Up Drive As your representative for Mr. Earth Makati, I am not doing this just to show up or to pretend. I am doing this for our city and for our barangay. I am humbly asking for your support in my journey to Mr. Earth Philippines. Even though there is no prize in this pageant, I will still join and fight for our Mother Earth. Win or lose, I will never stop advocating for the environment. After my journey as your Mr. Earth Makati, I assure you that I will continue helping not only in our city but also in other cities and provinces. I am also looking for sponsorships. Even simple support such as coats that I can wear for my photoshoot and sash ceremony on April 22, 2026 would mean a lot. I am also asking for your full support in reviewing my work and my organization. I started this advocacy last year, and I have been actively working to create real change. If I become Mr. Earth Philippines, I promise to continue supporting our country in maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation. I will lead by example, because being a leader and a Mr. Earth representative is not just a title it is a responsibility. This is our shared responsibility to protect our Mother Earth. An advocacy is meaningless if we only speak but never act. This time, I will do everything I can to make people listen and take action. I strongly support the implementation of Republic Act 9003, starting in our homes, in our barangays, and within our local government units. Proper waste management begins with us. Let us practice waste segregation at home. Real change starts with simple actions. I am fully aware that every city and Local Government Unit (LGU) has a budget intended for environmental initiatives including environmental pageants. Every LGU needs a true ambassador for the environment someone who will speak honestly about the real conditions of our communities. We need an ambassador who is real someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty, who is willing to face the reality of waste and pollution, and take action. Not someone who pretends. Not someone who only shows up for appearances. If you can fully support candidates in Ms. Earth, then why is it that we, as Mr. Earth candidates, are often overlooked? Why are our voices not heard when we raise real environmental concerns? This is not the time for political exposure. This is not a platform for self-promotion. This is a call to action for our Mother Earth. What we need right now is not visibility but accountability, responsibility, and immediate action. I have heard many stories from different LGUs where candidates received little to no support, forcing them to step back from their advocacy. Yet when it comes to other pageants, support is given easily because of followers, popularity, and political advantage. Let me be clear: this pageant is not for political gain. This is for the environment. This is for our future. This is for our Mother Earth. Environmental platforms must never be used for politics. They must be used for truth, for service, and for real change. If we truly care about our communities, then we must start acting now not tomorrow, not for show but for real, lasting impact.

My Story (2018–2019): A Turning Point In the year 2018 to 2019, I started looking for work again and thankfully, I was hired quickly. I was very grateful to be accepted at KFC Vito Cruz La Salle, and yes, I was genuinely happy with my job. All my co-workers were good vibes and friendly, and I felt I was finally in the right environment. Even the managers were approachable and kind, and every break time was something I looked forward to. They made me laugh, and I felt like I belonged. At that time, I hadn’t finished junior high school yet. I was that quiet kind of person someone who didn’t know how to say sorry easily, especially when I knew in my heart that I didn’t do anything wrong and did my job right. My position at KFC was at the counter, so I directly assisted customers every day. I knew this job required two things: being a good listener and having clear, respectful communication. I always tried my best. One day, two young women students from De La Salle University came to order. Since our branch is located near the university, most of our customers were students from there. I may not have finished school, but I can understand and read English. What I didn’t have yet was the confidence to speak fluently in English, and that made me feel insecure at times. While assisting the two girls, I politely asked if they wanted to upgrade their Coke drinks to large. They both answered clearly and at the same time, “Yes, large na po.” So I continued the order, prepared it, and served it with a smile. But to my surprise, they started to get mad at me and asked why their Coke was large. I calmly explained that I had asked earlier if they wanted to upgrade, and they both said yes. Despite my explanation, they demanded that I apologize. But I stood my ground I knew I didn’t do anything wrong. I didn’t want to say sorry for something that wasn’t my fault. That moment turned into something worse. They started mocking and belittling me, saying hurtful things not just about the mistake they thought I made, but also about who I was. I was deeply hurt. I felt small, embarrassed, and humiliated in front of many other customers. When I couldn’t handle the pressure anymore, I called my manager to assist them. I stayed professional. But I never said sorry not because I was proud, but because I knew I did my job with honesty and care. People often say that “the customer is always right.” But is it really wrong to stand up for yourself, especially when you’re being disrespected? Just because I worked as a service crew didn’t mean I deserved to be looked down on. I had hoped that, being students from a well-respected university, they would show more understanding, patience, and kindness. After all, they were receiving an education but what’s the use of education if there’s no character behind it? I kept thinking, “Sayang yung mahal ng tuition kung kulang naman sa respeto.” Every university has a mission and vision, but that day, I didn’t see any of those values reflected in them. That painful moment became a wake-up call for me. Instead of giving up, I chose to go back to school. I stopped working and enrolled again in junior high school at the age of 19. I was placed in Grade 9 and even though I was older than most of my classmates, I was proud of myself for making that decision.
