It is so refreshing to see a country like El Salvador come out of the shadow of listening to those who "know better" and into the light. It is easy to dictate virtues from afar. Children have been used extensively throughout the world to carry out heinous crimes and even wars (Liberia, Sierra Leone) for the simple reason that they are easily brainwashed and are protected as they are minors. Needless to say most of the child soldiers from Liberia were never successfully re integrated into normal society. Dont get me wrong it wasnt their fault however the programming done at that young age is hard coded unfortunately. If it were up to the UN they would have gangs back in El Salvador taking it back to the dark ages.......and heres the kicker.....do you know why???.....So they can claim to have a use in this world.....Parasites gotta parasite....
Nayib Bukele@nayibbukele

⚡️Bukele is hated by a lot of elites because he proved that large parts of social collapse were tolerated, not unavoidable. He destroyed the professional alibi. He showed that if a state decides order matters more than procedural vanity, activist status games, and bureaucratic self-protection, it can reassert control very fast. That is the wound. A huge amount of modern leadership culture is built around managed helplessness. Crime is “complex.” Disorder is “systemic.” Decline is “multifactor.” Public misery gets translated into language that removes agency from the people in charge. Bukele broke that machine. He made the issue embarrassingly concrete. Use power. Back the police. Crush gang control. Reclaim territory. Restore fear of the state. Suddenly the old excuses sound fake. That is why the hatred is so intense. He did not just change El Salvador. He exposed a ruling-class preference. Many leaders would rather preside over decay than be accused of being too harsh while stopping it. They fear moral contamination more than they fear public ruin. Bukele reversed that hierarchy and won. The part people still do not say out loud is even simpler. Disorder benefits insulated elites more than they admit. They do not live inside the consequences the way ordinary people do. They can moralize from protected neighborhoods, private schools, guarded buildings, and abstract language. The working and middle classes eat the actual cost. Bukele made that arrangement harder to hide. My real view is this: He proved that state weakness in many places was a choice. He also proved that restoring order requires concentrated coercive power and a leader willing to absorb elite disgust. That is the trade. People who praise him usually understate the concentration-of-power part. People who hate him usually lie about the order-restoration part. The deepest truth is this: Bukele is dangerous to the prestige class because he turned their favorite sentence into a joke. “We can’t” became “you wouldn’t.”
Geiger Capital@Geiger_Capital

The reason many of our leaders hate people like Nayib Bukele in El Salvador is because he has quickly proven that crime and societal decline are not inevitable or beyond control… It’s a deliberate choice allowed by weak leaders, terrible policies and suicidal empathy.

There used to be a time when I would sit down and explain to Joy Reid why comparing the situation of women in America to women in Iran, and even implying women have it better in Iran, is an insult to Iranian women and a bald-faced lie. But after the latest verified report of two nurses who were tortured and raped by regime security forces for the “crime” of treating wounded protesters, raped so brutally with foreign objects that one had to have her uterus removed and both now live with colostomy bags, I’m done explaining. For Joy Reid and every idiot pushing that lie, I have only two words and I would like to ask you to deliver it to her: FUCK YOU.

Yes, according to eyewitness accounts, geolocated videos, and investigations by The Washington Post, Iran International, Iran Human Rights, and Hengaw, Iranian security forces set fire to sections of Rasht’s historic bazaar on Jan 8-9, 2026, during anti-government protests that began with shopkeeper strikes. They blocked exits and fired on people fleeing the flames, killing dozens to hundreds (estimates vary) and destroying 300+ shops. Iranian state media calls it a “terrorist incident” by rioters. The event is part of broader 2025-2026 protests.

What sparked the millions-strong uprising? Shop owners in Rasht’s historic market went on strike for a few days. Almost the whole city shut down, only a few pharmacies and grocers open. The regime warned: break the strike or we burn the market. Strikes continued. Then Islamic regime security forces surrounded the bazaar, set it ablaze with people trapped inside the flames. They shot anyone trying to escape. Hundreds of shops were burned and several dozen died. Reports say the smell of charred bodies lingered for hours. If you stayed quiet when this happened, don’t speak on behalf Iranians. We welcome the attacks on the regime.

Everything you said about the current state of the Navy's mine countermeasures capability is wrong. Not a little wrong. Completely, embarrassingly, dangerously wrong.... "The four ships we had dedicated to doing this we just decommissioned." The Avengers in Bahrain... Devastator, Dextrous, Gladiator, Sentry. Wooden-hulled ships from the 1980s. Ships that were pushing 40 years old. You know what replaced them? Three Independence-class Littoral Combat Ships... Canberra, Santa Barbara, and Tulsa… all three already deployed to U.S. 5th Fleet, all three operating in the Persian Gulf and Arabian Gulf right now, today, as you wrote this little rant. Not in San Diego. Not in drydock. In theater. Carrying the most advanced mine countermeasures mission package the Navy has ever fielded. USS Canberra arrived in Bahrain in May 2025 as the first LCS with a full MCM mission package. USS Santa Barbara is in the Arabian Gulf conducting mine countermeasures operations with unmanned surface vehicles… and, by the way, just made naval history by executing the first-ever at-sea launch of a LUCAS one-way attack drone from a littoral combat ship under Task Force 59. USS Tulsa is right there alongside them. Three ships. In the Gulf. Doing the mission. While you say the Navy "is absolutely not ready for this." These are fundamentally different platforms. Autonomous mine-hunting sonar… the AN/AQS-20C… towed by unmanned surface vehicles so sailors stay outside the minefield. Airborne laser mine detection systems on MH-60 helicopters. Unmanned influence sweep systems for acoustic and magnetic minesweeping. The old Avengers sent sailors INTO the minefield on wooden boats. The new systems keep them OUT of the minefield using robots... something you call a "downgrade" And while Santa Barbara hunts mines, she's operating under armed overwatch from A-10C Warthogs out of Jordan… loaded with JDAMs, laser-guided APKWS rockets, and enough firepower to shred any fast boat or drone swarm the Islamic Regime throws at them. The Avengers never had anything like that. "We lost all of our corporate knowledge." Really? The Navy spent a decade building, testing, qualifying, and deploying an entirely new mine warfare architecture specifically to preserve and advance that knowledge. They trained new crews. They ran operational tests on Cincinnati. They deployed the first operational package on Canberra. The Navy's mine countermeasures technical division ran this transition for years with deliberate overlap between old and new platforms. You lose corporate knowledge when you do nothing. The Navy did the opposite of nothing. "Now we're running an experiment and it's gonna cost people their lives." Three combat ships, forward deployed in the most contested waters on earth, running mine countermeasures with unmanned systems, protected by close air support, integrated with Task Force 59's autonomous warfare network. That's the most capable mine warfare force the United States has put in the Persian Gulf since 1991. Yelling "amateur hour" at people while getting the basic facts of the Navy's current force posture completely, demonstrably wrong… while three ships are literally in the water doing the job he says nobody can do… that IS amateur hour.

It is said, Mojtaba Khamenei, own 11 properties on The Bishops Avenue - an exclusive street in Hampstead, north London, also known as ’Billionaires’ Row. Now you know why British🇬🇧 Prime Minister Keir Starmer doesn’t want to join the United States 🇺🇸 against Iran, and, won’t allow US to use British airbases to strike Iran.

I want to say something to those who are talking about Iran, about Iranians, about attacking it. You have never lived under a religious, totalitarian dictatorship. You grew up in mixed schools. You don’t understand what it means to be separated girls in one building, boys in another from childhood. And talking to each others is a great sin. You wore whatever you wanted. You cannot imagine being arrested for wearing a T-shirt with English writing on it even something as simple as “hello” or having your hands shoved into a bucket of paint as punishment. You don’t know what it means that, for men in my country, having long hair was once considered a crime that they would grab you in the street and shave a cross into the middle of your head so you would be forced to shave it all off. You cannot understand what it means for listening to music to be a crime especially Western music. Punishable by prison. By lashes. People were imprisoned even for carrying blank cassette tapes because authorities assumed they intended to record “immoral sounds.” A woman’s singing voice is forbidden. Listening to it is considered a sin. Showing musical instruments on television is forbidden. Owning or carrying an instrument could be treated as a crime and your instrument could be smashed in front of your eyes. You cannot imagine that owning a VCR was once a crime and if they arrested you, the consequences could be devastating. Then satellite dishes became illegal. Police would climb rooftops like Spider-Man, tear them down, and later you would receive a court summons demanding to know why you had one. They began jamming satellite signals so people could not watch. Those signal interferences later raised serious health concerns across the country. If you didn’t pray at school, you were punished. If you didn’t fast during Ramadan, you were punished. If you ate in public during Ramadan, you could be flogged. We grew up like this. For the most basic human rights, we constantly had to struggle. And it never ended. The situation worsened economically year after year. Jobs required connections — otherwise, even the most highly educated young people often ended up driving taxis to survive. We were told to chant “death to” one group of countries one day, another group the next. The internet in Iran is rationed. Twitter (now X) has been filtered since 2009. YouTube has been filtered since 2009. Instagram has been filtered since 2022. If you see Iranians on these platforms, many access them through VPNs. And despite all of this We remained kind. We remained compassionate. We tried to see the beauty in life. We learned to endure. But endurance does not mean acceptance. Before you speak, look at where you live. Look at what you have had your entire life. Ask yourself whether you have ever had to fight for the most basic freedoms for the right to choose your clothes, your music, your thoughts. Ask yourself whether you have ever been punished for simply existing as you are. Then speak. And understand this: Many of us are grateful to the United States and to Israel for their military assistance to our country. Not because we love war. But because we have lived our entire lives in one. #Iran #KingRezaPahlavi #ThankYouTrump #ThankYouNetanyahu reuters.com/news/picture/m…
