@DroidUnderscore Yeah, and you can buy the previous seasons ones at the tower, but still so dumb. I feel nothing when exotic engrams drop even though I dont have every weapon and armor piece. I have every world loot. So it feels meaningless

Can I just say I’m so thankful the linear meta is not what D2 will be left with indefinitely because that shit was so fucking boring compared to every other damage meta

@ferowaw_ i care because it was cool i think. quests initially made certain exotics feel a lot more special and were usually done to underscore their story significance but now its just kind of an expected thing every season so the quest/mission exotics feel less special

@Oy_Lumo thankfully most of those lost sector exotics have numerous different sources now like that public event on neomuna and the lawless frontier exotic keycard rooms

@herblackestday it just sucks that all new exotics are either season pass rewards, exotic mission, or RAD content related because there's basically no incentive to add any of them to the world pool

@DroidUnderscore the world drop exotic is genuinely a lost art because it rewarded repeat exploration and wasn’t just guaranteed after a glup shitto quest. they were reasons to live in the world

As much as you might hate Marathon due to the executives' decision to prioritize it over D2, trying to bring the game down won't do anything to help D2 or the chance for a D3.
It's fine if you don't enjoy Marathon but if you ever want to be able to experience games from Bungie again, killing their last active IP will not help.
If you feel like you need to do something, just play D2 again. Or go back and play D1. Trust me when I say that turning times of mourning or loss into times of joy is the most liberating and cathartic feeling ever. Trying to drag everyone around you down into the pits of anger and despair that you are in hurts both yourself and others.
Be kind to each other and do better guys. Reminisce. Have fun!

Calling for a truce between Destiny 🤝🏼 Marathon At this rate, we’re building towards a mutual shared destruction where nobody wins. As someone that LOVES Marathon and Destiny, I’m not asking D2 players to even try the game…but dunking on each other gets us nowhere. Peoples thoughts are heavily influenced by others online, so when they see something negative it influences them to not even give the game a chance, when they otherwise might. On the flip side, nobody from Marathon should be cheering for Destiny “sunsetting.” Unhinged behavior, truly. If we want either game to flourish, we need to change the current trajectory. Our best chance at Destiny 3 will be determined by Marathon’s success, and better sentiment (which I totally understand Bungie needs to help with in this effort as well.) At the end of the day, we’re all gamers that want to have fun playing our favorite games with our friends. This approach helps ensure we get the chance to do that for many years to come.
