Alex have released a new governance proposal and $ALEX is up 100% today on the news
TLDR;
- 1.6M $STX will be used for token buy back and burns
- Future protocol revenue will be used for the same
- Alex is now deflationary with emissions stopping
Interestingly, $LEO has most of it's LP paired to ALEX so naturally benefits from this tailwind
The Alex chart below shows it breaking out to levels we haven't seen since Oct/Nov 2025 and this time last year, Alex was 25x higher (even after this pump)
As for @LeoCoinSTX - it moved from 1.3M to 1.8M mostly just because of the Alex price increase (only +$3k net buying caused a ~34% increase)
