Starting “Make the Exorcist Fall in Love” Just from the art style, it’s low-key giving “Hanako-kun” #MTEFIL

So you know that series MAD that I’m always talking about on here? And you know how a lot of us love Reze from Chainsaw Man? Well, there’s a character in MAD named Pano that I’m pretty sure a lot of you would really like as well. I definitely recommend checking out the series and seeing what she’s all about, because she’s honestly an awesome character.

I read 3 out of 4 of these!

@cigaretjes The other series is Ichi the Witch. It's done by the same author that did a Iruma-kun, if you've ever heard of that series.

Now that Chainsaw Man is officially over, it really feels like we’re stepping into a new era of shonen. Not just in Weekly Shonen Jump, but also Jump Plus, Kodansha, and a lot of other magazines that are putting out these newer series. Honestly, I’m excited to see where all of this goes, both in terms of future anime adaptations and how far these manga stories are going to push things. There’s just a lot to look forward to right now, and I’m genuinely excited to dive into it all. I also want to give a huge shoutout to everyone who’s already been covering and supporting this new era. I’m right there with you. I’m going to be pushing this wave of shonen just as hard. And even if I didn’t mention you specifically, I still want to show love to everyone making content around these newer series, because this is a really exciting time to be part of it. @whawkinsMW @DavyKettei @LegendDVash @AnikiSmashFSP

MAD has a pretty strong apocalyptic setting where an alien race has taken over the world. You can kind of think of it like Kaiju No. 8 in that sense. These creatures are always present, constantly looming over everything, and it creates this heavy survival atmosphere throughout the story. There are certain characters, not all of them, but some who actually gain access to those alien-like powers. What makes it interesting is seeing how they learn to adapt to those abilities and use them to survive in this kind of world. It really leans into that survival of the fittest mindset, where not everyone is guaranteed to make it. And one thing I really respect about the series is that it is not afraid to take risks when it needs to. When certain moments call for it, the story does not hold back, and that is something that really helps it stand out.
