@Manixh02 The one click back to the exact session bit is the important part. The notch only works when it saves a real context switch. I’ve been chasing that same feeling with Droppy.

Przesiadłem się z MacBooka Intela na nowego z notchem. Szybki, cichy — ale ten notch to przez miesiąc irytował mnie bardziej niż cokolwiek innego. Na iPhonie wycięcie = Dynamic Island. Na Macu = czarna dziura. Zrobiłem więc NotchFlow: najazd na górę ekranu → wyspa z muzyką, kalendarzem, plikami, timerem. Apple's next MacBook Pro is getting OLED, a touchscreen, and Dynamic Island — but skipping M6 Pro entirely. The big twist: this year's refresh will reportedly use M5 Pro and M5 Max chips instead of the expected M6 generation. Apple is reportedly skipping M6 Pro/Max/Ultra entirely and shifting focus to M7 for AI performance gains. Full breakdown of what's coming: • OLED display — first Mac with true blacks and per-pixel lighting. Mini-LED is finally being retired from the Pro line. • Touchscreen Mac — macOS is being reworked with dynamic touch controls that enlarge when you tap the menu bar. Pinch-to-zoom, faster scrolling, native gesture support. • Dynamic Island — replaces the notch. Hole-punch camera cutout masked by software UI elements, Live Activities, and notifications. • Thinner chassis — Apple Silicon's efficiency lets them slim down without the thermal compromises of the Intel era. • M5 Pro/M5 Max — not M6. mac dynamic island is quickly becoming very competitive screen real estate nothing can have it all, and if it does, it's usually not that great (?)

@5Maharana Music and AI status in the notch is exactly where this gets interesting. I’ve been building Droppy around that same idea, then kept expanding it into a proper Mac productivity layer.

was exploring expandable notch island on mac , and though of merging the github.com/Octane0411/ope… and github.com/Ebullioscopic/… so i can manage my music and agent from the dynamic island
