Our Y10 students descended on Manchester Central for the JD UP careers event, a vast, high-energy day of exploration, ambition and hands-on learning.

Our local MP Angela Rayner visited Droylsden Academy today and met with the students who attend the DA Politics elective. They talked about current affairs and she enjoyed answering the variety of questions they posed to her.

Year 9 took to the court for their first ever netball fixture today — an exciting milestone for the team! With two full squads and an impressive 18 players eager to take part, it was fantastic to see such enthusiasm and team spirit on display.
On Friday 24th October, our school proudly took part in the nationally recognised Wear Red Day in support of Show Racism the Red Card. Staff and students wore an item of red clothing alongside their uniform to show solidarity with this important anti-racism campaign.
The P.E. department is delighted to celebrate the remarkable achievements of two of our Year 9 students, Logan Gilder and Bobby Robinson. Both students recently travelled to Denmark to compete in the prestigious HSK Box Cup, showcasing incredible dedication and talent.
