@DryftiN 162, was a pro job with a pro composer/conductor (my most important gig till today), Bro was insanely obsessed with layering things, i did it in 2 days, no sleeping, super crazy, i survived It and It is the best paid job i've ever had (i was only producer for him)

To any vocaloid producers that see this. What’s the most amount of vocal tracks you’ve ever put in a song? I’m at 50+ on this one I’m working on and I’m wondering where I left my sanity.

@levidawn10 Same voice bank, different settings in synthV, different mixing and effects from the main vocal once exported from synthV to push them back in the mix.

@DryftiN Are you using different voice banks for the doubles? In my experience same voice bank doubles make it sound boxy even if the pitch graph and tone sliders are different, but I've been thinking that it's might be because I use more lanes inside SynthV instead of the DAW.

@levidawn10 There’s probably something redundant about this but: I build a vocal with 5 layers (main, 2 doubles, harmony, and up or down an octave). Then bg vocal to emphasize certain lyrics, usually 3 layers (like before but no doubles). Multiply by different styles/tones in the song.

@DryftiN Can't you combine most of them? I would think anything above 15-20 is redundant.

@BloopyChips That’s where the buildup comes from for me to. Everything’s layered. Then it’s just a multiplier of that for each section of the song. Going from whispering to singing, then screaming adds up

@DryftiN I think 10? Harmonies, layers with different effects, and new ones with different glide/legato settings because it's just easier instead of editing a portion of the song.
