Whenever it’s cold outside and you have The heat on, make sure that you close all windows and doors so that heat won’t escape your house forcing your thermostat to work harder. @vahsapes #apesenergy

Rain is important because it feeds our immediate needs without requiring us to tap our reserves in the water table. Rain provides a renewable resource that can meet our food production needs if managed properly. #apesaqua @vahsapes

@AA17apes In this picture there’s clearly a pipe emtying what ever come out of it into a body of water. This is a prime example of run off. If trash and pollution were to get dumped into the water, it could have a massive affect on the ecosystem . @vahsapes #apesaqua

@JM17apes @vahsapes I can also see it leading to injuries of innocent animals. For example Little fish may not be able to swim against the suction of the water.

Currently the lake in our community is being drained. This can greatly impact the marine life there, as it disrupts their habitat. #apesbio @vahsapes

@dk16apes @vahsapes Agreed, with out pounds a lot of organisms would lose their habits, and many animals would lose access to clean H2O

Ponds are amongst the most diverse freshwater habitats and have been recently found to support more species, as well as more uncommon, rare, and threatened species compared to lakes, rivers, and streams. Therefore they are vital for biodiversity. #apesbio @vahsapes

@vahsapes in this picture there are wild berries. The plant took in CO2 from the atmosphere and used it to make glucose which helps the production of the berries. If an animal were to eat the berries the carbon would be transferred to the animal.
