@DsMatie Depends on where you're at as a business. VC funded startups like installs because they're an easier to quantify growth indicator. Self-funded or ones that need to pull a profit, 100% on activation, that's about sustaining revenue.

Shopify App Owners: Stop obsessing over installs. Obsess over activation. A merchant installing your app means nothing. A merchant reaching the first real value moment means everything. Installs make you feel good. Activation makes you money.
