@NealGardner_ I never truly understood why this is such a big deal, yes matches are always more tiring than training but we can’t act like they won’t train their hardest tmrw and Monday to be ready for the game.. just because you don’t play doesn’t mean you’re more rested

@NealGardner_ They are trying to become members so they can get tickets, it’s crazy how pragmatic they are, respect! I tried to get tickets as a member but they stopped selling them, that way they definitely can’t get in!

The best thing the club did was making it members only. Just for this game, of course. But very necessary.

@NealGardner_ This wasn’t the game for half spaces… they sit back, soak the pressure and hit us in on lightning counter.. Toni just isn’t the player for this game.. talented for sure… but he heavily opponent reliant for now!!

On Toni. We let him down as a collective. He’s your guy in the half spaces, and every time he actually got the ball, the value he could add was obvious. Instead, we got sucked into a transitional game, completely abandoned control, and started forcing it wide.

@NealGardner_ How were las palmas allowed to make the sixth substitution? Im assuming ours came from Balde but they had no injuries severe injuries to the head..!?

I don’t think any of our poor results are on the players, manager or system, so pointing fingers is highly out of order. It’s like we’re on a road trip driving an expensive car, but we’re quickly running out of fuel in the middle of nowhere. Reality is, fatigue is real - both mental and physical. That isn’t to say the players are perfect and the system can’t be exploited, but the reason for our drop off isn’t that the players are suddenly rubbish and the system just stopped working.
