Directorate of Ordnance (C&S) under the chairmanship of Shri Sanjay Dwivedi, IOFS, ndc, Director General Ordnance (C&S) successfully organized a workshop on "Inner Vision - Viksit Bharat" on 24th April 2026 for the employees of Directorate of Ordnance (C&S), Kolkata & New Delhi, Field Units and newly formed Defence Public Sector Undertakings. Shri Rahul Bose, Business consultant and trainer very effectively presented and deliberated during the sessions and showed the vision, objective and road roadmap bringing out the need for active participation by everyone to ensure success of the Viksit Bharat 2047 mission. Joint Consultative Machinery (JCM) - III Council met on 08/04/2026 at the Directorate of Ordnance (C&S), Kolkata, with participation of recognized Federations (AIDEF, INDWF & BPMS) and Confederation (CDRA). Shri Sanjay Dwivedi, IOFS, ndc has assumed charge as Director General Ordnance (C&S) on April 6, 2026 at Directorate of Ordnance (C&S). He is a 1988 batch IOFS officer having 37 years of distinguished service holding significant assignments including CMD, AVNL.

After rendering 37 years & 04 months of distinguished service to the nation, Shri Akhilesh Kumar Maurya, IOFS, ndc, laid down his office today as Director General Ordnance (Coordination and Services). His career—defined by formidable challenges, numerous accolades and significant achievements—stands as a testament to his dedication and leadership. His invaluable contributions to strengthening the country’s defence preparedness will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude. His visionary leadership, guidance and unwavering commitment will always remain a source of inspiration to us. Directorate of Ordnance (C&S) extends warm wishes for his healthy and prosperous future.
