Our Dual Language teachers met today to continue their work exploring and learning how the new ELPS are structured and how language proficiency develops across content areas. Proud of the dedication to growing their practice and supporting our multilingual learners!

Our high school students are hard at work preparing for the TELPAS test today. They reviewed specific question types, revisited key strategies, and set goals to help them feel confident and ready for success on their upcoming assessment. @SeguinISD

TELPAS Parent Information Meeting. Families learned what TELPAS is, why it matters, and how it supports students’ English language development. Parents were provided with practice activities they can use at home to help their child build confidence & continue growing. @SeguinISD

Continuing Our Kindergarten Dual Language Parent Engagement Series! We are excited to continue supporting our Kindergarten Dual Language families by sharing tools, strategies, and resources that help our young learners grow in both English and Spanish. @SeguinISD

Congratulations to 4th grader Diana Ruiz-Soto from Rodriguez Elementary for winning 1st place in the District Spanish Spelling Bee! She will represent Seguin ISD at the Regional Competition. Big thanks to Mrs. Hernandez for all of your help coaching our students this year!

The Seguin ISD Education Foundation surprised three of our outstanding bilingual educators—Ms. Leon, Ms. Valentine, and Ms. A. Gonzales—who have each been awarded an SEF grant. We are proud of their commitment and continued efforts to support our Emergent Bilingual students!
