this is why i can’t hate arteta. i get it’s trendy to hate him and easy to farm engagement, but what he’s done at arsenal you’ve got to respect it. even the bottlejobs, ppl blamed arteta, for me more of the blame had to be on the players. a bit of a nob sometimes but can’t not applaud his work

@MaseTMT VAR team completely let the ref down. Theyve not shown him the full facts nor all the right angles. I could see about 6 fouls going on from both sides the moment Bowen kicked the ball. It’s chaos in there which it has been all season and they’ve let them go. It’s an absolute mess

That VAR audio is criminal.
Firstly you can hear them saying “is that enough contact” then they agree there are fouls from Trossard on Pablo and Rice on Mavropanos but show the ref the wrong angle who tells them to hurry up. The ref was absolutely desperate to disallow. Criminal

I think it's fine for some of you to just say, 'I don't like Arsenal and don't want them to win the league' rather than pretending you have some kind of moral objection based on play style or a VAR call or whatever. It just looks sour, be honest about where you are coming from.

A few years back, Premier League got to watch two brilliant attacking-minded football teams (City & Liverpool) consistently battle it out season after season. Premier League was determined by quality, not luck & controversies. Premier League peaked back then. It’s now dying.

I’m in a weird spot where I actually think I want to see City to go through against Newcastle so that they also get an extra match on their busy schedule. Could be quite useful in this tight title race if you ask me…
