We welcomed @HOPESFCOMMUNITY to @ChaseCenter for the Thrive Zone game day experience. The mission Hope SF works to provide service learning program that aims to disrupt hopelessness in public housing. Over their term, Champions receive over 80 hours of leadership training, work closely with SF Mayor's Office and run youth-led projects that benefit residents in HOPE SF communities. Impact Warrior Presented by PG&E. In honor of Jewish Heritage Night, we celebrated Vicki McGrath, a breast cancer exercise specialist at the Peninsula Jewish Community Center’s Pink Program, who has empowered hundreds of women through the healing power of movement. Vicki utilizes evidence-based exercise to reduce fatigue and improve the quality of life for survivors at every stage of their recovery journey. She remains committed to the belief that financial need should never be a barrier to healing, ensuring subsidies are available so every woman has the opportunity to regain her strength and confidence. Presenting the award is PG&E Community Relations Specialist Austin Claiborne. The Warriors and PG&E would like to thank you for your contributions to the community.

Officer Cory Hunt recently retired after twenty-seven years of distinguished service with the Oakland Police Department as a dedicated Field Training Officer and elite Evidence Technician. Beyond the badge, he has spent nearly a decade partnering with the nonprofit Magic Wheelchair to create custom, cost-free costumes for local children. These rallies serve as the first of many touchpoints throughout the year designed to foster a lifelong love for reading and provide students with the resources they need to succeed. Impact Warrior Presented by PG&E. John Thayer and Michael Kramer Wong are both recent Alameda County Teachers of the Year. John Thayer, a bilingual math teacher at Granada High, empowers students through Ethics Bowl and Migrant Education debate programs. Michael Kramer Wong has spent 15 years in his home community serving as a math leader and mentor, ensuring every student feels seen and supported. Impact Warrior Presented by PG&E. Siobhan Gibson, a social worker at Kaiser Permanente, founded The Blacklisted Bookshelf, a nationwide effort that has distributed over 1,000 books to protect intellectual freedom. When the recent government shutdown hit, Siobhan pivoted her network to provide critical food and supplies to 100 families across the country. She continues her local mission through a permanent community pantry dedicated to the memory of Josalynn Osborn, whose spirit of community Siobhan wishes to honor. Whether fighting for literacy or tackling food insecurity, Siobhan’s compassion knows no bounds. The Warriors and PG&E would like to thank you for your contributions to the community.

Impact Warrior Presented by PG&E. Rodney “Alamo” Brown is a multifaceted community leader, author of If My Eyes Could Rewind: The Real Richmond, CA Story, and cultural organizer. He is best known as the founder of Soulful Softball Sunday, an award-winning annual event for community healing in Richmond, California. His commitment earned him the Contra Costa County’s 2025 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Humanitarian of the Year Award for organizing over 105 free community events and serving millions of meals during the pandemic. Rodney also serves as a freelance sports journalist covering UC Berkeley football. The Warriors and PG&E would like to thank you for your contributions to the community.
