Duckocide Games

Intel from the core of #indiegamedev studio Duckocide Games (founder). Now using #godotengine. Play (Steam): https://t.co/VWsFM8kIqW

🎶Out of the sun (Under the boardwalk) we'll be havin' some fun..🎶 ...And in the game proper! An initial iteration of some procedurally generated piers (boardwalks). #godot4 #indiegamedev #indiedev #madewithgodot

🎶 You spin me right round baby right round... 🎶 Refining the movable whirlpool feature. Once again, pretty pleased with this evenings #indiegamedev efforts. I think #godotengine is starting to sink in and made this pretty comfortably (mostly shader work tbh). #godot4

An attempt at a half decent water shader. Uses vertex deformation for waves (really!? 😜), a whirlpool and up to 16 ripple sources (for things floating). Chatgpt prompt as a starter, but refactored over 80% of the shader code (good learning though). #godotengine #indiegamedev

And in the game... I need to procrastinate and endlessly tweak this water (the edges need to be a bit more foamy for me), but I'm pretty happy with these murky wet death traps. #godotengine #indiegamedev #indiedev #dungeon

We all know opening a Tomb is generally a recipe for a bad experience - Just ask Rene Belloq 😉 Oh wait, didn't he see the light and was vaporized? Tomb opening animation and shaders therein. Need to add some sound effects and try it in the game! #indiegamedev #madewithgodot
