Another night of not much sleep, but hey, I'm still alive and grateful to be alive.

Maybe today will be the day I change forever and really know His love and presence. Maybe today I will meet someone that will change my life for the good forever and help steer me to the light and a happier life. Maybe today will be the day I have a Damascas Road encounter that will peel the scales off of my eyes and finally lead m more to healing. I'm praying and holding onto those thoughts tonight into the day.

How can I not be sad that she isn't here anymore? It's crazy to me that I see people's advice telling someone when they're missing a loved one that passed away... to just treasure them in their heart and all the good memories and those kind of sentiments. I hear it and see it all the time, words being said that don't make sense and don't comfort someone in the moment who is genuinely hurting, missing a loved one. While they are not inherently wrong, it's just that approach of comforting someone shouldn't always be done and said to someone who is genuinely down in the dumps missing someone in the moment during a particular down in the dumps day. Sometimes, I wish less words were said to grieving people in an atempt to say the right thing to them, but I wish they would just act normal and talk to you about your day, their day and what we could do together in the day to make it more fun like going for a walk, going for a hike, getting some food, trying a new hobby, etc. I just wish people would realize that you don't always have to try so hard to 'say the right things' to people and just be yourself and do what you normally would do with them. So, on certain days, I will be sad and I don't need any overthought attempts of words of comfort that seem sterile and oversaid and cliché. Just be yourself, smile, laugh, tell jokes, engage with me with questions, ask me how my day was, ask me what we could do together today; just be authentic without trying so hard to give me 'the right advice' when I'm down in the dumps missing someone on particular days of sorrow.

Was sad yesterday. But hoping today will be better.

I don't see the appeal and don't have any interest in going on a cruise. I really would rather not be trapped on a boat in the middle of the vast ocean. Not because I wouldn't feel safe, but just because I'd get really bored after a day or 2, lol. I don't gamble, so there's a lot of stuff down already. I don't drink alcohol so there's another huge percentage of what cruises do all gone. The pools would get boring fast and the waterslides would get boring fast. I don't like watching movies, I could just do that at home or anywhere. I could also say lay in the sun at a beach and don't have to do that on a giant ship in the middle of the ocean. I don't go to clubs, they would all be worldly on he cruise and something a Christian should take heed on. After readings tons of reviews on the food, a lot of people say the food isn't good either, unless you go on top of the line cruises and most of them are not top of the line. One of the funniest comments I've ever read about cruises is that "they're basically a giant floating Golden Corral with a bunch of drunk people". LOL. Tbh, that seems to sum most of them up after reading tons of things about them. Even after knowing people in my life who have been on them... they pretty much only talk about food and drinking. :/ Also, sure, cruises stop to different locations on islands and stuff, but after all the reading I've done about that, it really doesn't sound appealing to me, lol. They hardly stay at those locations to really even do anything cool and memorable. And after reading tons of things there's nothing special to do at those locations either and it's all so time-restricted, meaning it seems like a waste of time. And there's the possibility of missing your cruise and they leave you stranded with a bunch of issues that come along with that. Idk, I'd get so bored being stuck in the ocean and I literally could not leave until we get back to land. I'd hate that... Nah, I'm so good, lol.
