I just spoke with the President and would like to publicly congratulate him on this. Some of my not-so-smart Democrat colleagues will soon be forced to issue public statements of support when they understand the terms of what the agreement is. To be clear, President Trump has been consistent and precise in his messaging from the beginning. Only weeks ago, Iran was viewed as an existential threat to the US and most of Europe. NATO exposed who they really are. Many people got exposed. Those who try to use this to sow division or just straight-up lie have also outed themselves. To be clear, from the beginning, this was about saving American lives. President Trump has truly accomplished something that no other POTUS could have pulled off. PEACE WILL ULTIMATELY PREVAIL.

That’s a bad question. The question is “Does the Constitution provide for birthright citizenship?” The answer is yes. Asking the SCOTUS to “ban” is it not the right ask - they are supposed to decide if laws are permitted by or in violation of the Constitution. If you want to ban birthright citizenship, then you (1) need a Constitutional amendment; and (2) that amendment must define how people are determined to be citizens. Good luck with that.

Uh, it was open before Trump started a war that was not authorized by Congress. So he was responsible for it being closed. It’s like throwing an infant into the water, jumping in to save it, then claiming you are a hero. The end result is yet to come, but expect ships passing through to pay Iran a huge toll per trip. Read the 14th Amendment and Sen Jacob Howard’s words (he was one of the authors): he said that except for those born on US soil to ambassadors (diplomats), all persons born on US soil are US citizens, and he concluded that there is no question about what it means. For those who say “but it says ‘subject to the jurisdiction’ of the United States - yes, it does. Anyone in the United States, legally or not, is subject to our jurisdiction/laws, with the exception of those with diplomatic immunity. If you think it means that those here illegally are not subject to our jurisdiction, then we cannot arrest them for committing crimes because that would mean they are subject to our jurisdiction. Just be cause you don’t like a part of the Constitution doesn’t mean it should not be enforced. The 2nd Amendment is a horribly written amendment and many don’t like it. But it’s the law.

How is this even a serious conversation? The idea that ANYONE can fly from ANYWHERE into America, have a baby, then fly back with citizenship is unserious. And yet, that’s exactly what is happening. Birthright citizenship should be rejected by SCOTUS immediately.
