@MikhaelTerran0v My friend usually play DuePa more than the normal 40 card formats lol. Sad that we didn't get DuePa deck this year.

Perfect World was one of the first DuePa deck I built, and thus one of the weaker ones. Just any Necra/Abzan coloured Distas and Dispector thrown in with a few ramp and shield burn. Yeah the player is me lol

@LondricLevo The lore isn't very coherent, and sometimes it's just having anniversary versions or special versions of characters. Happens to the popular or long running characters in the game.

So I've seen a lot of cards with "Ryusei" in it's name are all of these the same dragon or is it more of a title? The lore of Duel Masters seems interesting so I'd love to learn more. #デュエマ

@YamiMichael Yeah, only reason I remember was cuz I commented on that DM did it first too.

@DueMagus Yes, it did. And I even joked about it once in an official tweet [missing a funny reply to comment]. Because well, this card did it in December 2022, whereas the Van Gogh thing was September to October 2023. We didn't have a whole exhibit behind it, but the timing was funny.

Madan = Low, Abyssal Furnace (深淵の壊炉 マーダン=ロウ) is based on the 'Self-Portrait with Grey Felt Hat' by Van Gogh.

@rizqihidari I'm aware, but if they reduced it's cost and power, it'd be able to power up both decks at the same time.

@DueMagus it was obviously intended for Kiyonaga deck though, especially with Varavariety

The one thing I don't like about this card is that it costs 6. It's a Light/Fire Samurai, if it was cost 5 it would fit so nicely in the Samurai deck too.

Guard Strike, WBreaker, Blocker Varavariety: if you have 3 or more elements with different costs, your creatures gain Speed Attacker - Destroy an opp creature with 3k or less power. If your mana has a Twinpact card, instead destroy an opp creature with 5k power.

Guard Strike WBreaker - When your opp puts a creature, this turn, your opp creatures can't attack or block. - Choose a number higher than 5. Reveal the top 3 cards of deck, may take a card that costs the chosen number to your hand rest to bottom of deck. -Charger

Guard Strike Guardsman - When destroyed, put to mana instead of grave. - Put all non-Giant creatures to mana.
