Laconia is the 2x-Defending WIAA D4 Girls Basketball State Champion! The Spartans defeated Cuba City 47-43 in today's championship game. 🏀🏆 #wiaagb #statechamps

Game 3: Laconia & The Prairie School played within a single-digit margin throughout the first half, mostly within 2 possessions, with a 33-24 lead by Laconia as the biggest by either team. TPS scored 9 straight to tie it at 33 early in the 2nd half, but Laconia responded with a 19-3 run to go up 54-36 & they played even the rest of the way for a 67-49 Laconia win. Tierney Madigan attacked the basket & boards aggressively for a 20-&-15 double-double while Molly Duel & Finley Morgan combined for 31 pts off the bench (Laconia had a 31-2 advantage in bench pts).
